Bill aims to close loopholes in US Jones Act

A new bill has been introduced at the US Congress aimed at closing loopholes in the Jones Act that have granted exemptions to international flagged and crewed vessels to operate in domestic trades ... Examples have included exemptions for non Jones Act qualified vessels involved in pipe or cable laying along the US Outer Continental Shelf.
